Macerated Pears
Step 1
Wash and thinly slice fruit and add to a medium potÂ
Step 2
Cover fruit with water and stew on medium low heat until water boils
Step 3
Reduce heat and mash fruit in the potÂ
Step 4
Simmer until fruit takes on a jam consistency
Step 5
Do not add more water
Rosemary Syrup
Step 1
In a small pot add 2 cups of water and add in 1 full packet or 3 large bunches of rosemary.Â
Step 2
Cook over medium heat, let herbs simmer for approximately 5 minutes
Step 3
In a jar, add 1 cup of white sugar
Step 4
Strain 1.5 cups of the herb water into a measuring cup and add 1.5 cups of herb water to the jar.
Step 5
Keep the rosemary water
Under the Mistletoe
Step 1
Add 1 oz of macerated plums, 2 oz of rosemary water, 2 Tbsp of Rosemary syrup and 2 oz of faux Gin to a glass.
Step 2
Add ice and stir.
Step 3
Top with dried orange slice
Note
Rosemary syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month.
